Smart Leak Detection with Moen Flo: A Must-Have for Colorado Springs Homes
In Colorado Springs, where unpredictable weather and seasonal changes can affect plumbing systems, water leaks are a common and costly issue. Enter the Moen Flo Smart Water Monitor and Shutoff — an intelligent, Wi-Fi-connected device designed to detect leaks, monitor water usage, and protect your home from water damage, whether you’re at home or away.
What Is the Moen Flo System?
The Moen Flo is a smart water shut-off valve that monitors your entire plumbing system in real time. If it detects abnormal water usage, such as a burst pipe or continuous flow from a leaky toilet or irrigation system, it can automatically shut off the water main, preventing thousands of dollars in water damage.

Why Colorado Springs Homeowners Need Smart Leak Detection
Homes in the Colorado Springs area are especially vulnerable to leaks due to:
Fluctuating temperatures causing pipe expansion and contraction
Hard water buildup damaging fixtures and valves
Aging irrigation systems or plumbing in older homes
Installing a Moen Flo system offers peace of mind — whether you’re at work, on vacation, or just want to catch that hidden leak in your irrigation system or behind the walls.
Common Issues Flo Can Help Detect:
Leaky toilets
Failing irrigation solenoids
Burst pipes
Slow leaks behind walls or floors
Water left running by accident
The app will alert you immediately if something seems off — giving you the power to act fast and prevent water damage.
